Frozen sweet corn kernels:1cup
Finely chopped green chili:1-2
Finely chopped onion:1small
Finely chopped coriander leaves:1tbs
Finely chopped curry leaves:1tsp
Baking powder: 2pinches
All purpose flour:1-1/2tbs
Oil for shallow frying
Place corn kernels in a microwave safe bowl,add enough water to cover and microwave on high for 3minutes. Drain and pat the kernels dry or steam the kernels until soft and pat dry well.
In a food processor,process 3/4 cup of the kernels to a coarse paste.
Transfer to a bowl.
Add reserved kernels and remaining ingredients except oil&mix throughly by hand,adding more flour if needed.
Make small patties out of this mixture.
Heat a non-stick frying pan with about 1tbs oil&fry the patties on both sides until crisp.
Serve with tomato ketchup...
